Students who wish to take Driver’s
Education courses at the Central Educational Night High School
can still sign up for available slots.
The half-credit driver’s education instruction is being offered
Monday through Thursday after school at CEC, from 4:20 p.m. to
6:30 p.m.
Driver’s education course costs $300 for Coweta County students
to register, and $700 for out-of-county students. It meets all
requirements of Joshua’s Law, including 40 hours of supervised
driving experience and at least six hours of night driving, and
counts for ½ of a Carnegie Unit of high school credit.
Regular high school students must get permission from their base
high school guidance department before enrollment in night
school.
Registration forms and more information are available at each
high school’s guidance department.
Full-time courses taken as fifth block classes require a $400
tuition fee for Coweta County residents. A $650.00 tuition fee
will be charged to out-of-county students.
Only cashiers checks and money orders can be accepted for
registration (no cash, personal checks or credit cards). The
Central Educational Center is located at 160 Martin Luther King
Drive, and can be reached at 678-423-2000. |
