 Educational background:  Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Master's of Education degree from LaGrange College,  Gifted Education certification,Teacher Support Specialist Certification, Reading Intervention Specialist

 

Teaching Experience: 16th year of teaching: regular education in 3rd and 5th grades before teaching Gifted Education grades K - 12.  I served as the Gifted Education Coordinator for Meriwether County prior to coming to Glanton.  I have been at Glanton since it opened in 2004.

 

Hobbies/Interests:  Spending time with my family, reading, watching the Braves and Auburn football, teaching Sunday school, teaching Education classes at LaGrange College

 

Family and/or vision for students: Married with 2 children.  My daughter attends Glanton and my son attends Smokey Road Middle School.  My vision for my students is that they will be intrinsically motivated to work hard to reach their goals.
